“The walls are invisible, not the ceiling!”
Two more sessions of microscope under our belts: one continuing our first game, and another starting a new game with a new group. If anything, the game gets more interesting when you’re coming back to continue because you already have this material you want to explore. It definitely draws you back.
In the new game, Ryan and John took to microscope like ducks to water. Angry, vengeful ducks, bent on cracking the very fabric of the world — those kind of ducks.
Each session has brought some hazy questions into sharper relief, but my ongoing experience remains about the same: the more I play microscope, the more I want to play microscope.

@ Joe Murphy — No, you didn’t miss anything. I’ve been intentionally keeping the concept under wraps until I’m sure it works — which is getting closer, since the playtests have been going well.
@ John — Me too! I’m struggling not to pre-plan what I want to do in the next game. It is mighty hard to resist.
@ Tony — Definitely. Next time there’s a clear Friday session I’m all for it.
Let me know if you ever want to bring this by on a Friday and try it out. I’m intrigued!
Agreed. I want to play more Microscope, too.
What ever happened to Perkins!?
Maybe I’m missing it, but what’s the game about?
