Evergreen
Names are hard. Except when they’re extremely easy. Some names just fly out of the ether and can’t be avoided (Microscope, Kingdom). But more often you have to sit and fiddle and poke and prod.
So it’s always an important step in game design when a project gets a proper codename. A name that feels like it is going to stick. A name that fits like a glove.
Today’s name: Evergreen.
And that’s all for now (tease!), because I’m closer to the beginning than the end, and I don’t generally talk about projects until they’re ready to roll, except to say: Happy Birthday, L! The greatest of oaks grows from the smallest of sprouts.

Ho my ho my ho my… love this kind of tears! Hope you can show us more soon. Or maybe tell us a tiny bit more without giving details… like, for how many people is this game? How long you calculate it take to play it? Is it a one shot, campaign like or can be used both ways? Characteristics like these… to tease even more! Thanks!
Having now taken a look at Mars Colony, I’ll definitely have to give it a try. My only gripe is how thoroughly it locks down the setting – right on down to the names and positions of the major players. I see how that lets you jump right in to playing, but I prefer games like Kingdom that are wide open.
Hadn’t even heard of it, thanks!
Thanks, Garth!
re two player games, have you played Mars Colony? Because if not, play Mars Colony:

Oooh! New project! I look forward to it!
By the way, Ben, if you ever come up with a story game specifically designed for two players, I will be all over it!
