“Why would they do that?!? Let’s go and find out…”

It’s always fascinating to me when people who’ve never played Microscope before–or anything like it for that matter–really dig in and talk about the experience.

Into The Gamescape is a podcast in the UK that normally covers board and card games, but they took Microscope for a spin and spent a good chunk of their latest episode talking about it.

Into the Gamescape – Show 56

Starts around 35:30 and goes for about 30 minutes. They start with a basic overview of the game but then dig into their play experience. Some really intelligent, in-depth discussion of what it’s like to play Microscope and all the repercussions at the table: GMless gaming, the pressure of hotseat creativity, using Microscope for writing stories, etc.

Great stuff.
